James Ewers is an accomplished and sought-after songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist based in the UK. Known for his versatility and skill, James writes music that stirs emotion, creates atmosphere and sticks in your head. 

You may’ve already heard his music on award-winning films, adverts for world-famous brands and prime-time television.

Notably, he has co-scored music for a number of films and documentaries, including the BAFTA nominated film Notes on Blindness, The Real Charlie Chaplin, and Netflix's Apollo 13: Survival.  

 

His bespoke and production-ready commercial compositions have been used by brands such as Samsung and Clinique. And his work can be heard regularly on television and radio networks worldwide, including flagship programs such as Master Chef, This Morning and Sky Sports Premiership Football.

James has written songs for Edinburgh theatre-comedy and award-winning BBC radio projects.
